My Home,

Our Muskoka.

Why I’m running

Muskoka is more than where I live, it is My Home

I am running for Town Councillor for Ward A because I believe the Township of Muskoka Lakes is at an important moment in its history.

The decisions made over the next four years will shape our lakes, our communities, our local economy, and the quality of life we leave to future generations. These decisions deserve thoughtful leadership, careful planning, and a council that listens before it acts.

Like many residents, I chose Muskoka because of its natural beauty, strong sense of community, and unique character. First as a seasonal owner and now as a permanent resident, I’ve spent over 16 years enjoying our lakes, supporting local businesses, volunteering in the community and getting to know the people that make this township such a special place.

When I speak with residents throughout Ward A, one message is consistent. Everyone cares deeply about the future of Muskoka Lakes.

  • You want growth that respects the character of our communities.

  • You want responsible stewardship of our lakes and forests.

  • You want local businesses to thrive.

  • Above all, you want to know that your voices matter.

This is the kind of councillor that I will be. I believe the best decisions begin by listening first. Every resident deserves to be heard, whether they have lived here their entire lives, recently made Muskoka their permanent home, or have been returning seasonally for generations.

Respectful conversations lead to better decisions.
